HYIP investment pyramids - 2004/12/11 14:52 One other important thing to watch out for with these programs - especially with those that "seem" to be legit, is that some may in fact be able to make decent returns by investment in other programs. BE SURE TO UNDERSTAND AND INVESTIGATE THESE THOROUGHLY. Some programs actually show you trades that will be taken on actual betting sites, offer constant feedback, etc. These MAY have a greater chance of being legit, especially if it seems as if their performance can fluctuate (sometimes even lose some on a given day) and does not offer insanely rediculous returns. The thing to really watch out for here is HYIPs that offer a decent rate by investing in other more risky HYIPs. Especially from a perspective of diversification, if you diversify into HYIP-A and HYIP-B, and HYIP-A makes a good chunk of its profits from investments in HYIP-B, and now HYIP-B blows up for whatever reason - hey, maybe it invested in HYIP-C and HYIP-D which also now stopped paying... You understand how this effect cascades throughout the HYIP industry and can lead to an large crash and maybe people losing lots of money in what they thought to be some of the "safest" of these types of programs. Again - the more research you do and understand what a particular fund is doing to keep sustaining itself, the greater chance you have of not wiping out. Stocks are again not so different. If you try and buy into a bunch of high flying stocks (certainly not my style, but each their own)... and the market takes a dive, that won't say much for diversification as they all tank at the same time. And in the end, the ones that can hurt you the most were those that everyone thought were the safest... Right up to the moment that they weren't. Of course, even putting all your money in one "safe" stock would be as good as gambling. So just remember that many of these programs are just a high-risk gamble as to whether or not you'll be able to pull out your money before the whole "scheme" falls apart.

Past all that, I have seen some interesting programs out there that do seem to have some hope and offer some interesting possibilities -- again, the e-told newsletter (http://www.e-told.org/?1785798) will help to filter some of these out, especially if you're adament about learning more about all this and possibly getting involved.

Of course, you can also learn more about tymoraPRO and get a better understanding of how the markets work so you can find great potential trading opportunities on your own without having to risk putting your future into someone else's hands!
