HYIP - How to Avoid the Scams - 2004/12/10 13:07
Due to the amazing returns that are offered by some of these programs (literally hundreds of percent a year), many people are naturally curious about what's really going on here. Well, as you can probably imagine, just about every one of these programs is a PONZI scheme, and for those who still wish to try their luck, it's a matter of getting all your money out before all the money is gone and the scheme folds over and takes off with whatever money you still had in the program. Some programs last for days, others can last for years, but they all fail eventually leaving those still in holding, well, nothing... Of course, some may say how is this all that different than a stock market bubble, so for those curious people who do want to see if they can pull a few bucks out of these programs, the key is of course diversification, risk-management, and RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH. One of the best sites that I found on this offers in-depth and unbiased research on many of these programs, and they are also one of the first to let you know which ones seem fishy or seem like outright scams. They offer a year subscription to their newsletter and research database, along with several ebooks on the subject about $50. Even if you just want to learn more about these, this is a good place to go to really see what's going on with these programs.
Here's the link -- it's also accessible from the "Places to Visit" section:
